“I thought the types, duration, and activity levels were very well geared for families with children. We loved all the animals we saw at Tortuguero on the boats, and we also saw a lot of monkeys pretty close right at our lodge. Our guide connected well with all our family members. He tenderly gave extra assistance to the grandchildren when he sensed an extra need. He was a delightful conversationalist during rides and meals, and he showed a keen sense of when to be a member of the "family" and when to disappear for a bit. He was extremely knowledgeable on his country, birds, animals, and geographical formations. He spoke in terms that we could readily grasp.”
