    Moon Over Myanmar

    Myanmar has practically remained unchanged since British colonial times. It is a beautifully preserved culture that offers awe at every turn. This particular trip coincides with the Full Moon Festival (otherwise referred to as the Harvest Festival), which involves the cooking of a glutinous rice speckled with coconut, sesame seeds, peanuts, ginger, and oil. This rice is distributed to all the attendees of the ceremony, as well as used in a competition among the men to see who can offer the most rice to the Great Lord Buddha.

    In addition to witnessing this special event, Full Moon Over Myanmar consists of a deep cultural and religious exploration, wandering through countless villages and temples. From visiting the famous Shwedagon Pagoda to experiencing the floating village of Ywama, you will gain a well-rounded understanding of the appropriately coined "Golden Land."
