    Antarctica, Falklands & South Georgia

    Itinerary for the 2010 - 2011 season

If your goal is to set foot on Antarctica but also combine the Antarctic Peninsula’s wonders with a fascinating, easy-paced journey via the Falkland Islands and South Georgia, these expeditions are ideal. From Shackleton's lonely grave and spectacular Iceberg Alley, to Zodiac landings at remote penguin rookeries and other areas rich with wildlife, come follow the early explorers on this remarkable Antarctic experience.

Choose from easygoing explorations to active adventures. Cruises aboard ice-strengthened expedition ships designed to carry from 47 to 122 passengers are relaxed, comfortable adventures with excellent accommodations and cuisine. Some vessels also offer opportunities for camping, kayaking, ice climbing and cross-country skiing. All passengers will enjoy frequent Zodiac landings, specialist presentations onboard, and when you set foot on the White Continent, you’ll appreciate the collective expertise of veteran polar guides who know the region inside and out.
