JOURNEYS’ Tanzania Culture and Wildlife tour is a classic 4x4 guided exploration through one of the greatest wildlife countries in the world. The adventure begins at the Kambi ya Tembo Camps, located near the Kenyan border. From here, in the shadow of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, you will have the opportunity to experience night drives and nature walks, all accompanied by local Maasai warriors. Search for bull elephants and other game while learning about the Maasai way of life. Moving on, Tarangire National Park provides a great opportunity to view classic African wildlife, as well as unique plant species such as acacia and baobab trees. Spend a few days exploring the park via Land Rover, then check out Lake Manyara and visit a Mto Wa Mbo village. Arrive at Serengeti National Park and enjoy the next few days searching for game and exploring the incredible scenery of one of the most famous deserts in the world. Visit Ngorongoro Crater and a traditional waHadzabee village before heading to Arusha and onward. Africa is known for having culture and wildlife unlike any other place on earth, and JOURNEYS’ Tanzania Culture and Wildlife tour is the perfect way to experience it all.
