Super Serengeti in September & February

This is our choice for the ultimate safari on a classic 4x4 guided exploration of one of the greatest wildlife areas in the entire world. This trip goes in September 2013 and again in February 2014, both of which are great times for enormous migration herds and the predators that stalk them. Join a true big game safari and see it all -- lions, rhinos, zebras, hyenas, hippos, baboons, elephants, cape buffalo, and more.  You will travel in vehicles especially equipped for safety, comfort, photography, and off-road access. Stay in remote, comfortable safari lodges and tented camp accommodations near the seasonal locations of the concentrated migrants. In addition to seeing great numbers of animals, you will also spend time in a tribal village and visit the hunter-gatherer Hadzabe and Datoga peoples.  Starting and ending in Arusha and spending time in Tarangire National Park, Manyara Ranch Conservancy and Lake Manyara, the heart of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, and Lake Eyasi, this is an efficient, not-too-much-relocating, and wildlife-filled itinerary. While in this part of the world, consider a short extension to exotic Zanzibar.
