Joey Lechtner to Head Marketing Efforts
Ann Arbor, Michigan - February 19, 2012 - JOURNEYS International is pleased to announce the addition of Joey Lechtner as its new Marketing Director.
In this new role, Lechtner leads JOURNEYS marketing division and is charged with developing and implementing programs to expand brand awareness and recognition of the company. He will oversee advertising, public relations, social media and other marketing initiatives.

"Joey brings a wealth of experience in online marketing that will not only benefit our ongoing marketing efforts but drive the implementation of new marketing strategies to enhance our relationships with travelers and take JOURNEYS to the next level.
Lechtner joins JOURNEYS after nearly 20 years in retail, product, and e-commerce marketing. Previously, Lechtner served as the Director of Marketing for Fry, Inc. and Director of Merchandising for OfficeMax.com, where he led the online merchandising and marketing efforts of the consumer facing Web site. He also spent five years with American Greetings as a Senior Product Manager.
Lechtner holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan.
