Pre-Scheduled Group Trips

Many of our trips are offered on set dates for groups ranging in size from 4-12 participants. A few trips may be offered for slightly larger groups. You may sign up for these trips as a single, in a couple, or with friends or family members. Pricing is usually based on two people sharing accommodations. Single rooms are often available for a small supplement. Sometimes we are able to match roommates.

You can browse for trips on our comprehensive departure schedule or search by departure date or trip type. Trips vary in activity levels from touring with optional hiking to demanding treks. Accommodation levels vary from deluxe lodges to full-service camping. Some trips are focused on wildlife, some on cross-cultural interaction, some on both. Some trips are specifically for families with school-age children. A few trips each year are especially for women.

When you find a trip that interests you, note the summary information in the right column. If specific dates are provided, then the trip will be run as a pre-scheduled group trip, providing we get the minimum number of sign-ups. In most cases, even if we do not get the minimum number, we are able to run the trip for you with only a modest additional surcharge.
